The customer

Wiertz is een uitzendbedrijf en detacheerder gevestigd in Limburg, opgericht door Harm Wiertz. De afgelopen 25 jaar heeft het bedrijf een aanzienlijke groei doorgemaakt, zowel in omvang als geografische spreiding. In 2022 werd Wiertz de eigenaar van Pooter Personeelsdiensten, een specialist in de technische sector, en breidde zich uit naar Zeeland, Noord-Brabant en Zuid-Holland. Met deze groei kwam de behoefte om hun online propositie te vernieuwen en de website beter af te stemmen op hun visie: "Iedereen verdient een baan".

The challenge

Due to the rapid growth of Wiertz in recent years, the existing website had become a collection of different systems and was overly complex. The challenge was to simplify the narrative and make the website more user-friendly, with a focus on candidates. The website needed to convey the message powerfully and clearly, so that job seekers could easily navigate and find the right information. Additionally, there was the question of which CMS would best suit their marketing and content needs.

The solution

Site.nu koos voor HubSpot CMS in combinatie met React als front-end om zowel flexibiliteit als snelheid te garanderen voor Wiertz. Dit systeem stelt Wiertz in staat om hun website modulair op te bouwen, waarbij de content dynamisch kan worden aangepast aan de gebruiker. De website is opgebouwd met flexibele modules zoals tekst- en afbeelding schermen, video's, banners en meer. Hierdoor kan Wiertz snel nieuwe pagina's toevoegen en de ervaring personaliseren, afhankelijk van de gebruikersinteractie.

Our vision

Our vision was to develop a website that helps Wiertz to communicate his message simply and clearly. The focus had to be on job seekers, with the idea that every person in the Netherlands has the right to work. The design and functionalities of the website had to ensure that job seekers felt welcome and had easy access to the right information. At the same time, we also had to serve employers, with an overview of solutions that assist them in their search for the right candidates.

For Wiertz, the website serves a dual purpose: for clients, the goal is both to inform and to convert, by showing them solutions and services that help them find suitable candidates. For candidates, the focus is on conversion and support, by guiding them step by step in their search for work. This is achieved through clear call-to-actions, such as creating an account and filling out forms, which lead users to their next step in the process.

This website therefore takes a different approach than, for example, the website of xxllnc. Where the focus at xxllnc is on informing municipal and national organizations with a strong emphasis on reliability and technical content, Wiertz is more focused on direct conversion for job seekers and facilitating their job search.

Our approach

To effectively convey the story of Wiertz, we opted for a modular design that allowed each element to be flexible. The website had to not only adapt to user needs but also be fast and efficient in loading pages, regardless of the amount of content behind it. With the integration of HubSpot as a CRM and marketing system, we were also able to optimize the website's performance and improve conversion through precise data collection and analysis.

Choice of the CMS

The choice of HubSpot CMS with React as the front-end provides Wiertz with the best solution for their needs. HubSpot is a powerful system for marketing automation and offers extensive capabilities for tracking customer behavior, which allows for the personalization of the website based on user interaction. The integration with React ensures a fast and smooth user experience, where the website performs optimally, even with complex content. Choosing HubSpot CMS also offers advantages in terms of marketing tracking and automation, enabling them to run targeted campaigns and better track conversions.

Design

The design of the new Wiertz website had to be not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. The challenge was to convey Wiertz's vision as a trusted and accessible employer in a way that appeals to both job seekers and employers. We opted for a sleek and clear design with plenty of white space, making the website feel fresh and modern. At the same time, the key messages had to be immediately visible without overwhelming the user.

The primary color of the Wiertz website is orange, with an orange accent strategically used to highlight important elements. These orange shades provide a warm, accessible look and reinforce the brand identity. The use of orange for buttons and calls to action makes the website visually appealing and encourages interaction. The design's foundation is minimalist, with plenty of white space, black-and-white usage to maintain visual clarity, while the orange accents draw attention to the core messages without being too distracting.

To make the site user-friendly, we have personalized the design based on the different target groups that Wiertz serves: job seekers and employers. The navigation is simple, with clear sections that quickly lead visitors to the right information. Visual elements such as icons, photos, and charts have been carefully selected to provide a professional, yet accessible appearance. This ensures a balance between the businesslike nature of Wiertz and the personal approach to job seekers.

Another important consideration was the responsiveness of the website. The design had to adapt to various screen sizes, from desktop to mobile, so that all users would have a consistent experience regardless of the device they were using. This was achieved through a flexible layout and the use of modern front-end technologies such as React, which ensures fast loading times and a dynamic user experience.

The website's menu structure is simple and intuitive. The main sections are clearly separated: job seekers, employers, about Wiertz, and contact. This ensures that both job seekers and employers can quickly find what they need without having to search through an excess of information.
